About
The Formosa Quartet presents American Mirror Project | Refuge, a chamber program that reflects on sanctuary, displacement, and the complicated history behind America’s promise as a place of hope and refuge. The performance explores the stories of Benjamin Britten and Erwin Schulhoff, two composers who fled escalating violence in 1939 and whose lives took very different paths. Attendees can expect an evocative string quartet concert that blends historical reflection with expressive classical music.
